EOI - Malawi - Financial Audit for Rumphi Water and Sanitation Services Improvement Project - RWSSIP 18-Feb-2025 The services included under this contract are for Financial Audit for Rumphi Water and Sanitation Services Improvement Project. The Consultant will among other activities assess the performance of the Client for the duration of the project i.e. December 2023 to December 2027 by verifying that: All AfDB and GoM/NRWB funds have been used in accordance with the conditions of the grant agreement, with due attention to economy and efficiency and only for the purposes for which the financing was provided. Counterpart funds have been provided and used in accordance with the conditions of the grant agreement, with due attention to economy and efficiency and for the purposes for which they were provided. All necessary supporting documents, records and accounts have been kept in respect of all project activities. Clear linkages should exist between the books of account and the financial statements presented to African Development Bank. The special account has been maintained in accordance with the provisions of the loan agreements and in accordance with the Bank’s rules and procedures. The level of expenditure is reasonably comparable to the physical completion status of the project.
