SPN - Malawi - Construction of Intake Weir, Treatment Plant, Transmission Mains, Reservoirs and pumps and Installation of Distribution Pipelines - Rumphi Water and Sanitation Services Improvement Project 10-Nov-2025 The Government of Malawi has received financing from the African Development Bank hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Rumphi Water and Sanitation Services Improvement Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of Intake Weir, Treatment Plant, Transmission Mains, Reservoirs and pumps and Installation of Distribution Pipelines for Rumphi Water Supply System in Rumphi District. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and procedures for Investment Project Financing.
