GPN - Malawi - Rehabilitation of Kapichira I and Nkula B Hydropower Plants 12-Feb-2026 The objective is to increase reliability and efficiency of power generation thereby contributing to increased socio-economic growth, affordable and sustainable electricity through rehabilitation of existing generation stations Kapichira and Nkula B Hydro PP. The expected procurement methods to be used under the Bank Procurement Policy and Methodology (BPM) are Open Competitive Bidding International (OCBI) and Quality Cost Based Selection (QCBS), applicable for the advance procurements, Component (a).
